Cookie policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage) used on https://ringhum.com and in the Ringhum dashboard, in line with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR.
1. What we use
We use only strictly necessary cookies and storage. They do not require consent, but we show a notice so you know they exist. We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies on the website.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ringhum_session | Keeps you signed in and remembers form state between pages. | Cookie, first party | Session (2 hours of inactivity) |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Cookie, first party | Session |
remember_web_* | Set only if you tick "Keep me logged in". | Cookie, first party | Up to 1 year |
cookie_consent | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice. | Cookie, first party | 12 months |
theme, tour:v1 | Your light/dark preference and whether you finished the dashboard tour. | Local storage | Until cleared |
__stripe_* | Fraud prevention on the billing pages only, set by Stripe when you open checkout. | Cookie, third party (Stripe) | Up to 1 year |
2. Third-party content
Sign-in with Google or Apple, and integrations you connect (Google Calendar, Slack, HubSpot and others), send you to those providers' sites, which set their own cookies under their own policies. The website loads fonts and scripts from our own servers.
3. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking the session or CSRF cookie will stop the dashboard from working. Local storage entries can be cleared from the browser's site data settings.
4. Changes
If we add cookies that require consent (for example analytics), we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
