Revenue your assistant brings in

How Ringhum estimates the value of the bookings, orders and room reservations your assistant takes, where you see the figure, and what is and is not counted.

On this page

Ringhum adds up the value of the business your assistant takes by itself: appointments it books, orders it takes and room reservations it makes. The figure shows what the assistant is worth to you in money, next to the minutes it uses. It is an estimate based on your own prices. It is not a record of payments received.

Where you see it

  • Home: the Brought in by your assistant card shows the total for the last 30 days, split into bookings, orders and reservations.
  • Weekly report email: members with Weekly report switched on under Settings → Notifications get a line such as "Your assistant brought in $1,240 this week in bookings, orders and reservations it took itself."
  • API and MCP: GET /api/v1/revenue returns the same figures for the last 30 days, or for 1 to 365 days with ?days=. The MCP server has the same information. See API keys and scopes.

Until the assistant has taken something, the Home card explains that bookings, orders and reservations will add up there, at the prices of your services and menu.

How it is calculated

Item Value counted Left out
Appointments The price of the booked service, from Company → Services Cancelled appointments, no-shows, and appointments without a priced service
Orders The order total, including any delivery fee Cancelled orders
Room reservations The reservation total for the stay Cancelled reservations

Only items the assistant took itself count. That includes bookings, orders and reservations made on phone calls and in the assistant's text conversations, such as website chat, WhatsApp and SMS.

These do not count:

  • appointments customers book themselves on your public booking page,
  • anything you or your team add by hand,
  • anything created through the API,
  • stays imported from Booking.com, Airbnb or VRBO.

Items are counted by the date they were booked, not the date of the visit or stay. An appointment booked on Monday for next month counts in Monday's figures. If it is cancelled later, it drops out of the total.

Add prices so bookings count

An appointment only has a value when its service has a price. If some bookings have none, the Home card shows how many, with a link to add prices.

  1. Open Company → Services.
  2. Enter a price in the Price ($) column for each service.
  3. Click Save services.

Bookings made before you added a price are counted at the new price, as long as they are still within the period shown. Appointments booked without a service, for example a general appointment, have no price and are not counted.

Tip: Service prices are also what callers hear when they ask what something costs, so keeping them up to date helps both.

Several currencies

Amounts are never converted between currencies. If your services, menu and rooms use more than one currency, each currency is added up separately and shown side by side, for example "$1,240 + €80".

What the figure is and is not

The figure is an estimate of value. Appointments are counted at the service's current price. Orders and reservations are counted at the total they were placed for.

  • It does not know whether the customer paid, or how much. Use Mark as paid on appointments and orders to track payments. See Payment links.
  • It does not subtract discounts, refunds or no-shows you have not recorded. Mark missed appointments as No-show under Appointments so they drop out.
  • It does not include calls that led to a sale in another way, such as a message your team followed up.

Common questions

The Home card shows fewer bookings than my Appointments page. The card only counts appointments the assistant booked in the last 30 days, and not those booked on the booking page or by hand.

Why is a booking not counted? Its service has no price, it has no service, or it was cancelled or marked as a no-show.

Does the weekly email use the same numbers? Yes. It uses the same rules for the past seven days.
